1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing fade, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to consent to online services under the law where you live. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you must have it.
2. Accounts and security
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and promptly tell us if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
- You may not sell, transfer or share access in a way that puts another person or the service at risk.
- Usernames may be reclaimed when they impersonate others, violate rights, mislead visitors or remain reserved for platform operations.
3. Your content and licence
You keep ownership of the text, links, images, audio and other material you upload. You give fade a limited, worldwide licence to host, process, display and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve your page and the platform.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and publish your content. You can end this licence by deleting the content or your account, except where temporary backups or legal retention duties apply.
4. Acceptable use
You may customize and share your fade page, but you may not use the service to create, distribute or promote:
- illegal content, fraud, scams or the exploitation of minors;
- credible threats, targeted harassment, hate or incitement to violence;
- doxxing, non-consensual intimate content or other serious privacy violations;
- malware, credential theft, phishing, spam or deceptive redirects;
- impersonation or infringement of copyrights, trademarks or other rights;
- attempts to evade moderation, bypass security controls or disrupt the platform.
We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or enforce these terms.
5. Paid features and billing
If paid plans become available, the price, billing period and included features will be shown before purchase. Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider under its own terms.
You may cancel a recurring plan before its next renewal. Refunds and withdrawal rights are handled in line with the law that applies to you; nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.
6. Service changes and availability
We aim to keep fade available and dependable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Features may change as the product develops. When a change materially affects paid access, we will give reasonable notice where practical or legally required.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using fade and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, fraud, legal obligations or harm to other users. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to appeal.
8. Disclaimers and liability
fade is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by content and services outside our control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for intentional misconduct.
9. Governing rules and consumer rights
These terms are intended to be governed by Belgian law, without taking away protections you receive under mandatory law in your country of residence. If you are an EU consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as fade evolves. Material changes will be announced before they take effect when required. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
